VII - Washing and Grooming — This section includes all of the Houseboy’s washing and grooming protocols, including those at home and when traveling with Master. Some of these rules will be specific to each Houseboy, since some who serve are partially or fully shaved or smoothed, and others are granted exemptions to allow pubic or other hair growth. Bathroom protocols related to washing and grooming will also be included in this section, and include rules related to preparation for bathing by Master and guests. An example of a rule to be included here is the protocol for Showering, which requires the Houseboy to leave the bathroom door and shower curtains open and use sufficient lighting to allow for proper supervision.

XI - Traveling Away From Home — This section will include rules that govern the Houseboy’s activities when traveling with or without Master to and from from home, and which aren’t listed in other sections of this index. This includes duties like chauffeur service, helping Master with baggage and travel needs, dealing with strangers as well as Master’s friends and colleagues, and protocols for those temporary moments when the Houseboy is left alone. An example of a rule to be included here is the ‘Use of Safety Belt’, which requires the Houseboy to properly wear a seat belt when driving or riding in a motor vehicle or any place else where such is required by rule or policy, such as on many amusement park rides. A Houseboy who serves under negotiated limits may be exempt from some or all rules in this section. Rules for Custodial Supervision are posted in Section XIV.

XIV - Temporary and Co-Masters — This section will include rules that govern the Houseboy when he is alone with a guest or in the care or custody of a Temporary or Co-Master. Examples of rules that will be included here are protocols governing how the Houseboy is expected to behave when he is attending Music Lessons or Martial Arts Classes, or is left temporarily left alone with a house guest while Master tends to an important phone call or is otherwise occupied and unable to supervise and instruct the Houseboy.

XVIII - Minimal Clothing Examples and Protocols — This section will include examples of Minimal Clothing which the Houseboy may be issued and temporarily required to wear under authority of Rule #111 when traveling away from home. This includes everything from quick trips to retrieve an item from a car parked on the nearby public street to day trips into town or even overnight travel to another city or state. Minimal Clothing always consists of only a single item of clothing or covering which is intended to provide minimal compliance with local dress codes limiting physical exposure. An example of Minimal Clothing would be a Hospital Gown issued in a medical settings yet could be technically legal to wear on the trip back home, yet could be socially awkward or embarrassing to do so. Any Houseboy who applies for and is collared for part-time or temporary service under a condition that he remains at Master’s home would be given an exemption from the Minimal Clothing rules.
