Commands and Protocols — Muscles Command
The Muscles Command is primarily a demonstrative instruction which is usually given by Master either to show off the House Boy’s physique to others, or to show off the House Boy’s lack of physique to others. It may be given as a response to a guest request that a House Boy display his muscles, even if the House Boy obviously does not have a muscular build. Master may also use this command for practical reasons prior to conducting any inspection or taking Body Part Measurements (Rule #87) including those of the arms or biceps.
Protocol for the Muscles Command requires the House Boy to immediately assume a position flexing his arm muscles and to continue displaying and flexing them in the same or varying poses until instructed to stop or a subsequent command is issued. Anyone present has the Basic Right To Observe And Comment (See below, Rule #191) and may verbalize either complimentary or derogatory words and statements which the House Boy is not permitted to respond to, unless directed to do so. Discussion may extend beyond the muscles themselves, and may include subjects like the House Boy’s predicament and circumstances, or body part sizes and shapes. The House Boy is required to obey any relevant sub-commands like ‘Turn around’ or ‘Jog In Place’ while continuing to display his arm muscles as originally instructed.
In the example photo, a House Boy is summoned to Report To Master (See below, Rule #211) and then to turn around prior to being given the Muscles Command. Although he is naked at home, the same protocol applies when this command is given while clothed and traveling with Master. Clenching of fists is not a required element of this command — because it displays a dominant trait instead of submission — but Master will often follow up with an instruction to clench fists when observers are present, since they tend to expect it as part of the pose. Therefore, a House Boy who chooses to clench fists (or other muscles like the legs or buttocks) without being instructed to do so is not subject to discipline.
On rare occasions, Master will use the Muscles Command instead of saying Clasp Hands (See below, Rule #8) as a diversionary mindfuck prior to announcing or administering discipline. The Muscles Command may also be used by Master or others during any Educational Initiative (See below, Rule #119) at home or away. Since this command requires display of the arms and biceps, any House Boy whose arms are covered must remove the covering to be in compliance and meet expectations. In public places where the House Boy is clothed, this may include the removal of textiles like a coat or shirt and the exposure of other body parts, regardless of who may be present and could observe.
