Master’s Philosophy — Dealing With Resistance

Most House Boys are obedient and complaint. That’s because they’ve been familiarized with the rules and sign off on them before beginning service in Master’s Kingdom. The application and consideration process even provides an opportunity to negotiate exceptions to certain protocols, and the rules themselves provide a mechanism for requesting rule changes after collaring, though the process is slow and requires mutual agreement.

Once a House Boy is officially collared, the applicable rules and protocols must be obeyed. Resistance will not be tolerated. It doesn’t matter whether the House Boy improperly evaluates a situation, is lazy or fighting an inner brattiness, or simply wants to spontaneously change a protocol he has previously agreed to. Master has both the right and responsibility to use safe yet reasonable force in Dealing With Resistance to ensure that authority and order is maintained. 

In the example photo, a House Boy travels with Master several hundred miles to visit an old friend who owns a ranch in a rural area. After arriving and and removing all of his clothing for routine inspection, the House Boy is instructed to walk to a swimming hole near the far back corner of the estate. Instead of obeying the command, the House Boy resists because he is afraid of snakes. He says he overheard Master’s friend talking about ‘kinfolk’ who had recently killed a large snake alongside the same stream just a few days earlier, and the naked young man allows his momentary fear of snakes to overcome his responsibility to follow instructions.

In circumstances like these, the House Boy has the right to invoke the Paramount Rule, which permits him to ask three basic questions: ‘Is it legal?’, ‘Is it safe?’, and ‘What is the dress code?’. Master could then comfort the House Boy explaining that the dead animal was a non-poisonous king snake, that no poisonous snakes are native to the area, and that townfolk have been swimming here for generations without any reports of poisonous snakes or snakebites. Unfortunately, this House Boy uses poor judgement and tries to stall while threatening disobedience. Master and the friend have no choice but to enforce compliance, escorting the naked young man to the swimming area where a handful of other swimmers stare in amusement as the House Boy is administered an embarrassing Level Two Spanking for disobedience and disrespect. What would have appeared to be just a young dude skinny dipping — a tradition for generations at this swimming hole — turned into something far more humiliating for this House Boy because he chose to violate protocol and attempt to disobey. 

As a reminder, Reddened Buttocks Are Never An Excuse (See below, Rule #6) for a House Boy to avoid any duty or chore. On this day, the House Boy will have to remain at the swimming hole with his pinkish butt cheeks clearly visible for all to view. If he’s lucky, the snickers from curious onlookers won’t generate questions about his status or rules, or prompt Master or his friend to invite anyone over for supper. It is always better for a House Boy to follow instructions and adhere to protocol. Failure to do so will almost always worsen his predicament. Master calls his castle and surroundings “The Kingdom Of Mine”... and Resistance Is Futile.
